How to use Lip Facial - Guide & Tips

Lip Facial is an advanced multi-functional weekly treatment mask, specifically designed to smooth, deeply hydrate, plump & reduce the formation & appearance of lines & wrinkles around the mouth. Consistent weekly use will maximise your results, and you can use different application options depending on your concerns or how your lips/skin feel from week to week.

To Start:

1. Ensure the lips and skin are thoroughly cleansed and dry, free from make-up or oily residues.

2. Apply a thin layer to the lips & skin around the mouth one to three times per week using the applicator.

3. Remember to wait 30–45 minutes for the mask to work its magic, before removing it. If you have sensitive skin (or are short on time), start with 15mins.

4. To remove the mask, wet the provided muslin cloth with warm water, squeeze out the excess and gently remove the mask, using firm sweeping movements. Do not scrub the skin back and forth.

5. To boost results even further, after removing the mask, apply a thin layer of hyaluronic acid serum to the skin and relax under LED light to finish your home treatment. Always follow with SPF30 in the day to protect the new, freshly exfoliated skin cells, and use a nourishing lip balm/mask to lock in moisture at night.

6. The day after treatment, gently use the muslin cloth again on your lips and face to continue smoothing and remove any old skin cells that are still detaching, follow with balm. 

Example routine 1: Use this routine if you have no major concerns about deep wrinkles but want to: 

• Smooth & plump lips
• Hydrate & smooth fine lines
• Create a lifted more defined lip line
• Protect against future volume loss & wrinkles associated with ageing

Sunday: Apply to lips and skin around the mouth, leave for 30min, apply hyaluronic acid (HA) serum followed by SPF30 lip balm and SPF30 for the face.

Monday: Gentle sweep of the muslin over skin, during daily cleansing routine, HA serum, followed by SPF30 lip balm & SPF30 for the face.

Thursday: Apply to lips & skin around the mouth 30min. Apply hyaluronic acid (HA) serum followed by SPF30 lip balm and SPF30 for the face.

Example routine 2: Use this routine if you do have concerns regarding lines & wrinkles on lips & around the mouth and want to:

• Smooth & plump lips
• Hydrate & smooth fine lines
• Create a lifted more defined lip line
• Protect against future volume loss & wrinkles associated with ageing
• Address volume loss associated with ageing or fat loss from GLP-1 use
• Smooth out lines and deeper wrinkles from the inside without use of filler/botox

Sunday: Apply to lips and skin around the mouth, leave for 30-45min, apply hyaluronic acid (HA) serum followed by SPF30 lip balm and SPF30 for the face.

Monday: Gentle sweep of the muslin over skin, during daily cleansing routine, HA serum, followed by SPF30 lip balm & SPF30 for the face.

Wednesday: Apply to skin around the mouth 30-45min - apply a little to the lips if needed last 15min. Apply hyaluronic acid (HA) serum followed by SPF30 lip balm and SPF30 for the face.

Friday: Apply to skin around the mouth 30-45min - apply a little to the lips if needed last 15min. Apply hyaluronic acid (HA) serum followed by SPF30 lip balm and SPF30 for the face.

NOTE: consistent weekly use is required to gain and maintain results - fine lines will soften from first use but allow 4-6 weeks for deeper wrinkles to improve and volume to increase.

BONUS TIPS:

Many of our customers have found:

Applying a little mask to their "elevens lines" between the eyebrows has helped to smooth out wrinkles.

Applying a little mask to the chin has helped smooth texture, post-inflammation pigmentation  and soften the chin crease.

Applying a little to the cheeks, sweeping up to the temples also helps with volume loss and regaining glow!

The mask can be used between filler or botox appointments, but please consult with your practitioner to ensure correct timing.

Remember to patch test or start slowly if you have sensitive skin, and do not use on open cracks or cold sores.
