Dragons' Den here we come!

So, I have been keeping a really, really big secret for the past year! I am so excited to finally tell you that Albus & Flora and I are going to be on BBC’s Dragons’ Den this Thursday the 12^th March BBC1 at 8pm.

Honestly, I am having a little wobble about it, but I’m also SO excited for everyone to hear our story, and I want to thank every customer, every clinic, salon, spa & retailer who has believed in us and supported us all these years – without you I would not have the business I have built but would not have had the confidence to go through this crazy journey! 

Over the years SO many people have said “ You should go on Dragons’ Den”  and weirdly this seemed to increase around the time I was in the middle of the process – it was so hard not to share, so hard not to blurt it out.

It was way more nerve wracking than presenting at a scientific conference, and probably the toughest thing I have done to date - but it was an amazing experience and the BBC were absolutely brilliant, so kind, supportive and encouraging. I have put my heart & soul into the business and the day before I literally couldn’t get through the pitch without crying as it meant so much to me to present the business well. Waiting in the lift was torture, but when they opened and all the Dragons smiled I just thought – shoulder back, head up, try not to fall over in heels and go for it!

I did my best and hope the platform helps to raise awareness of the important of daily SPF protection for skin protection, to slow down premature photo-ageing and to show that targeted skincare can really help to reduce common skin concerns associated with lips and the skin around the mouth.
