As the medical director of the boutique Dr K’s Clinic, I was initially drawn to this brand because of the founder Rachel. She is a published physiologist and uses this knowledge to create a medically sound ingredient list. These credentials fit with my clinic’s medical ethos, so I knew this was a range I wanted to stock. The formulations are cutting-edge and the long-lasting balms combined with the weekly peri-oral mask, improve the longevity of lip treatments by slowing the ageing process.

I love using Lip Facial in my treatments, so much so I've made it a key part of my Signature Facial, which incorporates Facial Reflexology and LED light therapy. Clients feel the difference before they see it in the mirror and they are pleasantly surprised at the difference in not only their lips, but their peri-oral skin. It always looks plumper and smoother. I also teach Face Yoga and the clients who have paired the techniques with the Lip Facial have seen fantastic results. I recommend A&F lip shield to all my clients, its beautifully hydrating and crucially it protects the lips from the damaging effects of UVA and UVB. Many of us recognise the importance of applying broad spectrum SPF to our skin to protect against photoaging and cancer but leave our lips exposed. Lip Shield defends against damage whilst being a joy to apply. I'm also a big fan of Lip Facial. I commonly recommend it as a non-invasive option for plumping lips and treating peri-oral lines. The results have been amazing. We gifted an A&F lip shield to all our staff members on our 1-year anniversary so the whole practice is never without one!
